    About Matt

    Matt Krupp is a 2004 graduate of Shippensburg University and a 2008 graduated of Widener Law. He lives in Harrisburg with his wife, Allison, and two daughters, Rose and Madison. Matt is an experienced business owner and has more than 12 years as a practicing attorney. 

    In 2012, Matt founded Lighten Up Harrisburg and raised funds to replace the lights on the Walnut Street Bridge. He is a current Board Member of the Dauphin County Bar Association. Matt is a Trustee of the Community Historic Preservation Trust/Historic Harrisburg Association. Matt is a former president of the Capital Area Neighbors Association.

    Matt is a parishioner at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Harrisburg.

    In April 2020, as Dauphin County Prothonotary, Matt received an award for technical improvements made to the office. Matt is a 2017 recipient of the Forty Under 40, Central Penn Business Journal's program celebrating the region's most accomplished young professionals. In 2016, Matt was recognized as an honoree for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Finest.

    Dauphin County Prothonotary, Matt Krupp's nonprofit, Lighten Up Harrisburg, presented Broad Street Market Alliance Executive Director, Josh Heilman with a $10,000 check. Funds will be used toward repairing the iconic market sign, which was damaged by recent windstorms. 

    Matt Krupp had the honor of organizing a Dauphin County Courthouse visit for students from Central Penn College's paralegal studies program with Program Director, Professor Robert Donley. They heard spectacular presentations from President Judge John Cherry, District Attorney Fran Chardo, 1st Deputy, Orphans Court, Jenna Gamble, 1st Deputy, Treasurer, Vince Pease, Controller Audit Manager David Skinner, Controller Accounting Manager JJ Seasock, and Clerk of Courts Deputy Emil Notofranceso.

    It's always nice to visit the Carsonville Hotel and to show support for Mary Bateman for Dauphin Country Controller.
